Collection: Progress Keepers

Depending on who you speak with, this type of tool is called either a 'Removable stitch marker' or a 'progress keeper'. Both are equally useful in describing what you do with this tool!

For crocheters, this is the only type of marker that is used. Keep your single working stitch safe from unraveling with a clasp marker attached to it. From there, feel free to go pour yourself another cup of something and come back to your project without stress.

For knitters, these can be used as both a stitch marker (say marking your last ssk) to keep track of where/when you made one or as a progress keeper; to keep track of progress through the project. Knitting a sweater and you want to see how far you go in a month's time? Attach the marker to a stitch and knit away. One month later (or whenever really) you can easily measure your progress.
